tinyurl.com It may be useful to think more broadly about the terms we use when we talk about natural treatments for ADHD. Did you know that the National Trust is opening its parks and encouraging children to get back in contact with nature? Very few of them have had that sort of contact because they spend far too much time indoors wired up to the latest electronic gadgetry. But ADHD natural remedies also means choosing a type of treatment such as herbal or homeopathic remedies which will enable the child to enjoy life and more importantly enable the parents to set up structures and routines in the home so that he can learn to cope with all the daily tasks. All too often ADHD alternative treatment is regarded with suspicion but it is really just one element in a much more comprehensive program which will look at how we organise the home, how we set limits on behavior, how we feed our children and last but not least, how we encourage them to use the talents they have to grow up as successful and well balanced citizens. www.youtube.com

Working with a professional to obtain testing for ADHD is always a good place to start. This will help you understand what is ADHD and possible treatments for ADHD. Dr. Collins says ADHD is a neurological problem that’s difficult to diagnose because symptoms are variable and the cause is not singular. Research has shown that genetics is a factor, diet is a concern, constant overstimulation from TV and video games all play a part in the development of ADHD. From research we also know five to sixteen percent of all children from 1st to 12th grade have been diagnosed with ADHD. Five percent of adults have also received an ADHD diagnosis. By a ratio of three to one, boys are affected with ADHD more than girls. Geographically, ADHD is more prevalent on the east coast than on the west coast. Of the children who do have ADHD, 60 to 70 percent of them also have anxiety, depression, ODD, borderline personality disorder, mood problems, OCD, or bi-polar disorder. This makes it extremely complex and difficult for most therapists, physicians or counselors to be definite in their diagnoses. In fact

Before starting, I’m a proponent of ADHD, there has been numerous events to back up the theory. ADHD is an anxiety condition, and by separating the letters you will see as most do. Attention, Deficit, Hypertension, Disorder meaning lack of attention to the condition is causing anxiety. Parents are the main component in rearing kids and our behaviors will mode them into us. You may find a pathology in families but first you must be open to discover all personal biases which will surface readily.
